Too funny: I ate lunch at that same restaurant when I went on a daytrip there back in Summer ’07!

That’s funny! It was really cute – I loved the atmosphere, view, and the beer! My burger was subpar though. I should’ve tried something less mainstream.
Brian had duck confit, and his dad has mushroom spatzle (a traditional German pasta, I think – it’s really soft and looks like soggy french fries). Both of those dishes were amazing!

Oh, I have dreams about spaetzle. I even own a spaetzle maker…that I’ve used exactly once. Maybe I will use it again sometime soon. You know, to celebrate Oktoberfest.
