A mix of in-use and out-of-use train tracks makes Brown's Island in Richmond one of the more interesting places in the city. I took this picture as the sun set over the James River, and the resulting light made for a nice reflection of the train bridge (this one's in use).

A rare snow meant time to get out and take some photos. My first shot of the Byrd Park Carillion was missing something, so I found this branch, moved it into position, and got a more interesting composition. Taken with my @moment_lens wide-angle and Joby Gorillapod tripod. Edited using Snapseed.
